What a long long weeks… I’ve been trying to install a CMS (Content Management System) to my laptop since two weeks ago. There’s some choices i.e. DNN, Umbraco, Community Server, DotCommunities, ClubSite, etc…. I’ve seen the DNN demo at Faculty Connection Summit event last week, and it was really good CMS, easy to use with its drag-and-drop feature included. Then I downloaded the installer and its ‘how to install’ guide also. I try to configure the IIS and install the DNN like the guide said. But many times I tried, and it was all nothing. Then I tried DotCommunities and the problems were increased, here and there, so many prerequisite I must have. Then I tried Umbraco for days, soooo frustrating. Then I back to my first choice, DNN. Finally I can install it successfully, but it’s been a long journey too. You can’t imagine it! I almost hate myself..

Well, beside this installation problem, I must lose my idol Danny Noriega! Even VFTW can’t save him.. hiks..hiks… I didn’t mean to support VFTW, and definitely for me that Noriega was not the worst!! He’s been my favorite since his audition. I read a lot of sadness and disappointments in American Idol forums; even they made a petition to push AI producer to put Noriega back on the show. It proves that Noriega has huge and loyal fans. You have to know that he has a lot of fans in Indonesia too…. They promise that they will be in the first line to buy Noriega’s albums. Even I still sad to lose him, but that promise sounds fun!

Worse, I got fever and flu. I can’t breathe through my nose, but my mouth. Just like Danny said, that’s TMTH.
